Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
No, we do not require a referral to see our Physiotherapists as a private patient, however if you are a Workers Compensation, CTP or DVA patient you will need to supply us with a referral at your first visit.
Can I claim using my Private Health Fund and what will my rebate be?
Physio Interactive accepts all Private Health Funds at our clinics, please bring along your Private Health Card to each appointment to claim your rebate back.
The amount of rebate you receive back will be dependent on your level of health cover. We recommend speaking with your Private Health Fund prior to your appointment.
Does Physio Interactive accept Workers Compensation, Third Party or Veterans Affairs (DVA) patients?
Physio Interactive accepts all WorkCover, Third Party and Veterans Affairs (DVA) patients. Make sure you bring your referral from your doctor to your first appointment and any other information regarding your claim.
What Payment facilities are available and what is the cancellation policy?
Full payment is required at the time of your consultation. Our clinics accept Cash, Eftpos, Visa and MasterCard.
If you do need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we do ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, you may be charged a cancellation fee.
Is Physiotherapy covered by Medicare?
Physiotherapy is only covered by Medicare with a valid Chronic Disease Management plan (formerly Enhanced Primary Care (EPC)) from your GP. Eligible patients can claim up to 5 Physiotherapy sessions per calendar year using this plan.

Is there parking available at your clinics?
There is ample parking at both our clinics.
Arncliffe you will find 2 hour street parking in front of and surrounding the clinic, while at our Guildford Clinic, you will be able to park in the carpark out the front of Sonic HealthPlus.
Do you accept NDIS patients?
Physio Interactive is proud to be a registered provider with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We accept all NDIS Plans including NDIA-Managed, Plan-managed and Self-Managed.
We offer services in both Physiotherapy and Exercise Physiology to help our patients achieve their goals. If you would like to book in an Initial Assessment with our team, please call you closest clinic.
What do I wear to my appointment?
For Physiotherapy treatment we recommend lose comfortable clothing. If the injury is in the lower limb area, shorts are recommended. The Physio will need to treat the injured area directly.
If required, towels are provided to maintain privacy and access to the injured area.
If you are coming in to see our Exercise Physiologist, appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for the Gym or Swimwear for Hydrotherapy. You will need to supply your own towel during the sessions as they are not supplied by the facility.
What do I bring?
For your Initial Consultation we ask that you bring all images, scans and reports relating to the injury, past and present. If you have any further information such as specialist reports, discharge papers or training programs, please feel free to bring them along to help our physiotherapists during your initial consultation. As well, please bring along your referral, Private Health Fund card and Medicare Card if required.
Do you have any Aids or Braces available for purchase?
Physio Interactive have a vast array of products, splints and braces available for purchase. If you would like to be fitted for any of these products, please call our clinic and advise when making your initial appointment.
We do require patients to book in for a consultation to ensure their product is fitted properly to help minimise recovery time.
